What can I expect when I visit the HAP?

First, welcome to our establishment. We have a well-structured process in place to ensure efficient and quality care for all our patients. Here is a detailed description of the steps you can expect to follow during your visit:

  1. Registration: Upon arrival, our friendly administrative clerk will assist you with the registration process. This involves collecting your personal information, insurance details (if applicable), and any necessary paperwork. Your privacy and confidentiality are of utmost importance to us, and all information will be handled with the utmost care and in accordance with relevant regulations.

  2. Triage: After completing the registration, you will proceed to the triage area. Our skilled nurses will assess your condition based on established protocols. They will gather information about your symptoms, medical history, and vital signs to prioritize your care appropriately. Triage ensures that patients with more severe conditions are attended to promptly.

  3. Medical Assessment: Following the triage, you will be directed to a designated area where our experienced doctors will assess your medical condition. The doctor will review your symptoms, perform a physical examination, and may order additional diagnostic tests if necessary. This thorough evaluation allows the doctor to determine the most suitable course of action for your specific needs.

  4. Treatment Options: Based on the severity of your condition, the doctor will recommend the appropriate treatment plan. In cases where your condition is less severe, you may be advised to return home with instructions for self-care or follow-up appointments with your General practitioner.

  5. Referral to Emergency Room: In rare instances where your condition requires urgent specialized care, the doctor may determine that a referral to the emergency room is necessary. This decision will be made in consideration of your health and safety. In such cases, our staff will provide you with the necessary information and support to facilitate a smooth transition to the emergency room.
